About the role
The Senior Delivery Manager is responsible for driving the timely and predictable delivery of Enterprise Data & Analytics initiatives on behalf of business owners and product, engineering, and data and analytics teams. This role ensures requirements are captured, validated, tracked, and delivered through strong execution discipline, operational governance, and release coordination.
The Senior Delivery Manager partners closely with product, platform, analytics, AI/ML, and informatics leaders to plan, sequence, and manage work across multiple teams. The role provides visibility into delivery health, manages dependencies across products and platforms, and ensures delivery risks, issues, and release readiness are actively managed in alignment with enterprise priorities.
Key responsibilities include:
• Drive end‑to‑end delivery execution for Enterprise Data & Analytics initiatives, ensuring work is delivered on time, within scope, and aligned to agreed priorities
• Partner with product and technical leaders to plan and maintain delivery roadmaps, manage resource allocation and forecasting, and support financial and capacity management
• Lead sprint and Agile delivery operations, including backlog readiness, scrum standards, throughput and flow metrics, and team health indicators
• Coordinate program‑level and enterprise release management, including release calendars, dependency management, integrated release gates, and release readiness reviews
• Manage cross‑team and cross‑platform dependencies, identifying risks and escalating issues that impact schedule, quality, or delivery commitments
• Run delivery governance activities, including milestone reviews, risk and issue tracking, decision documentation, and evidence capture to support audit‑ready execution
• Establish and enforce quality and delivery controls, including definitions of done, validation requirements for high‑risk deliverables, and go‑live readiness gates
• Coordinate go‑live activities by producing and maintaining deployment plans, runbooks, implementation checklists, and release communications
• Maintain delivery and release documentation, including dependency maps, release artifacts, and notification plans
• Continuously improve delivery and release processes, tooling, and workflows (e.g., ADO/Jira hygiene, intake‑to‑backlog flow, automation of checklists and evidence)
• Communicate delivery status, risks, dependencies, and changes clearly to business owners, leadership, and stakeholders
