Job Description

Meta develops and deploys global-scale infrastructure, including data centers, networks, compute, and storage, to support its 3.8B+ users. The Global Supply Chain Technology Sourcing team is responsible for developing sourcing strategies, managing external business relationships, fostering internal engineering partnerships, and executing from new product ideas to large-scale deployment. This team leverages commercial, technical, and operations/manufacturing expertise to advance critical infrastructure domains such as artificial intelligence and custom silicon development.

Meta is looking for a leader who can create disruptive value by optimizing supply chain costs and risks. In this role, you will lead the Data Center Power and Connectivity equipment sourcing team. Your responsibilities will include defining and executing sourcing strategies to optimize cost, speed, delivery, and flexibility, thereby supporting Meta's expanding data center footprint at scale. You will also collaborate closely with key stakeholders within the Infrastructure Data Center teams, as well as with finance, legal, and operations teams.

Responsibilities

  • Develop domain strategies to yield optimal economic and supply risk outcomes for all critical data center technology infrastructure
  • Lead the active management of external partner relationships at the C-suite level, including commercial and supply agreements
  • Influence internal infrastructure product direction both commercially and technically to yield optimal results
  • Manage supply chain risks and optionality to ensure the timely delivery of quality infrastructure products globally
  • Develop sourcing strategies that address the unique needs of supply chain and manufacturing at hyperscale
  • Lead and develop a world-class strategic sourcing team that anticipates and addresses future needs
Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, electrical systems or another relevant technical field, or the equivalent combination of experience
  • 5+ years experience leading and managing teams within an engineering and supply chain organization
  • Demonstrated understanding of data center infrastructure solutions and technology and supplier roadmaps across power, cooling, connectivity, and controls domains
  • Demonstrated experience to successfully negotiate large, complex agreements covering a wide range of technologies
  • Experience working in hyperscale DC environment and/or construction industries
  • Demonstrated track record of developing and successfully executing complex supply chain strategies in relevant technical or service domains
  • Experience in NPI launches, product ramp, sustaining support, and end-of-life cycle for data center infrastructure products in a large-scale environment
  • Experience setting long term sourcing strategy and executing through team members reliably
  • Demonstrated experience in hiring, training, and developing sourcing teams
  • Experience in cross functional partnership and enabling the success of others
  • Experience transforming business systems, models, and achieving results relative to goals. Demonstrated skills questioning the norm, thinking out-of-bounds, and delivering
  • Experience with total cost of ownership (TCO) and developing system solutions to optimize performance aligned to KPIs
Preferred Qualifications

  • Demonstrated ability to integrate AI tools to optimize/redesign workflows and drive measurable impact (e.g., efficiency gains, quality improvements)
  • Experience adhering to and implementing responsible, ethical AI practices (e.g., risk assessment, bias mitigation, quality and accuracy reviews)
  • Demonstrated ongoing AI skill development (e.g., prompt/context engineering, agent orchestration) and staying current with emerging AI technologies
  • MBA or Master of Science degree in an engineering field
  • Program management experience

$208,000/year to $289,000/year + bonus + equity + benefits
