What you’ll do in the role:

Morgan Stanley Services Group, Inc. is seeking a Vice President, Lead Cloud & Infra Engineer in Alpharetta, GA to develop software across banking product domains utilizing various database analysis and software design tools and techniques. Create high quality software code while adhering to development best practices. Ensure developed code is in alignment with system architecture and integration design standards. Actively contribute and participate in software design and architecture discussions, daily stand- ups, and Agile Sprint planning sessions. Ensure delivery of high quality software applications. Telecommuting permitted up to 2 days per week.

What you’ll bring to the role:

-Requires a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field of study

-Requires five (5) years of experience in the position offered or five (5) years as an Analyst Testing, Module Lead, or a closely related occupation

-Requires five (5) years of experience with the following skills:

  • Teradata SQL development, optimization and performance tuning;
  • Informatica including ETL (Extract Transform Load) design and implementation;
  • SQL including joins, subqueries, and analytical functions;
  • Data integration, migration, and transformation;
  • Unix and Shell scripting for automation;
  • Job scheduling and orchestration tools including AutoSys, and TWS;
  • ETL and data testing, and validation and testing methodologies;
  • Performance tuning and troubleshooting of large-scale data solutions;
  • Version control using Git;
  • Agile and Scrum software development methodologies;
  • Python scripting for data processing and automation.

Expected base pay rates for the role will be between $195,000 and $195,000 per year at the commencement of employment. However, base pay if hired will be determined on an individualized basis and is only part of the total compensation package, which, depending on the position, may also include commission earnings, incentive compensation, discretionary bonuses, other short and long-term incentive packages, and other Morgan Stanley sponsored benefit programs.
