Job Description Summary

GE HealthCare is seeking a Senior Infrastructure Engineer – Remote Access to help design, implement, and evolve our global secure connectivity platform supporting employees, partners, and vendors worldwide.

As a Senior Infrastructure Engineer – Remote Access, you will focus on modern remote access technologies, including VPN, SASE, and Zero Trust solutions, within a fast-paced enterprise environment. You will work closely with Cyber Security, Network Operations, Identity, Cloud, and End User Computing teams to deliver secure, scalable, and reliable access solutions across global environments.

This is a hands-on engineering role with strong growth opportunities into architecture ownership over time and combines project-based engineering work with ongoing platform sustainment and continuous improvement responsibilities.

Job Description

Key Responsibilities 

  • Supporting the design, implementation, and continuous improvement of GE HealthCare’s global remote access environment,

  • Helping deploy and maintain secure remote access technologies, including VPN and SASE platforms,

  • Collaborating with senior architects and engineering teams on secure connectivity solutions for employees, vendors, and partners, 

  • Troubleshooting complex connectivity, authentication, and network access issues across global environments,

  • Assisting with implementation of Zero Trust and identity-aware access models,

  • Supporting high availability, resiliency, and scalability initiatives across remote access infrastructure,

  • Working closely with Security, Cloud, Identity, and Infrastructure teams to deliver integrated solutions,

  • Participating in operational readiness, change planning, testing, and incident response activities,

  • Supporting ongoing operational health of remote access platforms, including certificate updates, policy maintenance, lifecycle activities, and other recurring infrastructure tasks  

  • Assisting with operational improvement efforts by addressing technical debt, standardization opportunities, and day-to-day engineering enhancements across the environment  

  • Contributing to documentation, standards, diagrams, and operational procedures  

  • Supporting automation and standardization initiatives where applicable.

Required Qualifications 

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, Engineering, Information Technology, or equivalent practical experience,

  • Experience in network, infrastructure, or security engineering roles,,

  • Experience supporting enterprise remote access, VPN, or SASE technologies,

  • Good understanding of enterprise networking fundamentals including: TCP/IP, DNS, VPN technologies, Routing concepts,

  • Experience with one or more secure access platforms such as: Palo Alto Prisma Access, GlobalProtect, Zscaler, Cisco VPN, Netskope or similar technologies,

  • Familiarity with Zero Trust and identity-aware access concepts  

  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills across network and security domains  

  • Ability to work independently while collaborating across global teams  

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications 

  • Experience with cloud environments such as AWS, Azure, or GCP,

  • Familiarity with Identity and Access Management technologies such as:  Active Directory, Azure AD / Entra ID, LDAP, SSO / MFA platforms,

  • Exposure to Infrastructure as Code or automation tools such as: Terraform, Ansible, Python scripting

  • Experience working in enterprise or regulated environments,

  • Experience contributing to technical documentation and operational standards,

  • Exposure to virtual desktop or secure browser technologies is a plus.

Pay Range

For Poland based positions, Annual Salary Range:  241,600 - 332,200 PLN

Placement Within This Range Depends On

  • Relevant skills and qualifications

  • Prior job-related experience

  • Internal equity considerations (alignment with colleagues in similar roles) e.t.c.
