About the role

Testing Senior Integration Architect

The Testing Senior Integration Architect leads interface testing and integration validation for complex Oracle Health implementations. This role owns the coordination of multiple concurrent interface workstreams—including schedules, status, dependencies, risks, issues, and escalations—to ensure integration deliverables are tested, ready, and aligned with deployment timelines.

As a client-facing leader, the architect facilitates meetings, communicates clearly with VA stakeholders and technical teams, drives decisions and follow-up actions, and serves as a trusted advisor throughout the testing lifecycle. The ideal candidate understands electronic health record workflows, HL7 messaging, and healthcare data exchange across clinical, ancillary, and external systems.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead interface and integration testing strategy, planning, execution, and readiness activities across multiple concurrent projects and workstreams.
  • Collaborate with project team and stakeholders to maintain integrated testing schedules; track milestones, dependencies, status, risks, issues, decisions, and action items.
  • Identify delivery risks and blockers early; coordinate mitigation plans, drive timely resolution, and escalate appropriately.
  • Coordinate testing across Oracle Health teams, VA client stakeholders, third-party vendors, technical teams, and project leadership.
  • Facilitate client-facing status meetings, working sessions, testing readiness reviews, defect triage, and escalation discussions.
  • Communicate testing progress, risks, dependencies, and executive-level decisions in a concise, professional, and actionable manner.
  • Develop and execute interface test plans, test cases, and validation scenarios for inbound and outbound HL7 interfaces.
  • Coordinate and oversee the validation electronic health data exchange, including message structure, trigger events, data mapping, transformations, acknowledgements, error handling, and end-to-end workflow outcomes.
  • Support testing of HL7 messages and related healthcare interoperability concepts, such as ADT, orders, results, scheduling, clinical documentation, and patient data exchange.
  • Partner with functional, technical, and client teams to troubleshoot interface defects and ensure appropriate root-cause analysis, prioritization, and resolution.
  • Support deployment readiness, mock go-lives, cutover planning, production validation, go-live support, and post-go-live stabilization.
  • Establish and promote testing governance, documentation standards, and repeatable integration-testing best practices.
