About the role

Job Description

Do you love technology, find a solution to every IT problem, and make sure our team can work without interruptions?

Pammys has grown to over 1 million customers within just a few years and was recognized by the Financial Times as one of the fastest-growing e-commerce brands in Europe.

With our growing team and offices in Kiel and Hamburg, reliable and efficient IT plays a key role in keeping our day-to-day operations running smoothly.

That’s why we’re looking for an IT Administrator (m/f/d) to support our employees with technical questions, manage our hardware and IT infrastructure, and make sure our systems and workstations run reliably and securely – primarily in Kiel and, when needed, on-site at our Hamburg office

Your mission

  • Manage our laptops and IT equipment – from setup and updates to troubleshooting
  • Act as the first point of contact for IT issues and technical questions from our employees
  • Take care of our internet, Wi-Fi, and network infrastructure across our offices
  • Set up new workstations and technical equipment for new team members
  • Manage user accounts, access rights, and permissions across relevant tools
  • Install and manage software and ensure devices are kept up to date
  • Ensure the basic security of our IT devices and systems, including device encryption, secure configurations, updates, access controls, and endpoint security
  • Monitor and maintain security-related settings on company laptops and other devices
  • Troubleshoot everyday hardware and software issues and find quick, practical solutions
  • Keep track of our IT equipment and take care of hardware procurement and replacements
  • Maintain documentation of important IT processes, devices, access rights, and security settings
  • Support our Hamburg office with IT-related topics and travel there when needed to resolve technical issues on-site
  • Take care of general IT tasks and ensure our technical infrastructure works reliably across both locations

Your profile

  • Previous experience in IT administration, IT support, or a comparable role
  • Strong technical understanding and the ability to analyze and solve problems independently
  • Good knowledge of Windows and/or macOS as well as common Office and SaaS applications
  • Basic knowledge of networks, Wi-Fi, hardware, and user administration
  • A good understanding of IT security basics, particularly device encryption, secure access, updates, permissions, and endpoint security
  • A structured, reliable, and solution-oriented way of working
  • A hands-on mentality and no hesitation to solve technical problems directly on-site
  • Willingness to regularly travel between our Kiel and Hamburg offices when required
  • The ability to explain technical topics clearly – even to colleagues without an IT background
  • An independent working style and the initiative to identify areas for improvement yourself
  • Good german & english skills

Why us?

  • An exciting hands-on IT role with a high level of responsibility
  • A modern workplace in our Kiel office
  • Varied responsibilities across our Kiel and Hamburg locations
  • Short decision-making processes and a dynamic working environment
  • The opportunity to actively build and improve our IT structures
  • A team where you won’t simply work through tickets, but can genuinely make an impact
  • An environment where practical solutions and initiative are valued
