As an Embedded Software Engineer, you will develop and integrate embedded software for automotive ECUs. Working across Software, Systems, Hardware, Integration and Validation teams, you will deliver reliable, high-quality software solutions, ensuring compliance with automotive standards and project requirements.You'll love this role if you enjoy solving technical challenges, writing efficient embedded software and seeing your work come to life in modern vehicles.

  • Experience: Automotive embedded software development.
  • Skill: Model Based Development & AUTOSAR.
  • Skill: RTOS, debugging & software integration.
  • Skill: UDS/XCP, CI/CD knowledge.
  • Tool / method: Git, Vector tools, CAN/LIN diagnostics, Mathworks toolchain, provisional IDEs.
  • Behavior / mindset: Problem-solving and teamwork

 

Nice to have

 

  • Experience in automotive
  • Cybersecurity
  • Basic knowledge of functional safety and automotive standards (ISO 26262, ASPICE) is an advantage.
  • Experience in an automotive OEM, Tier 1, motorsport or low volume performance EV / Hybrid programmes.
  • Familiarity with automotive E/E architecture, automotive systems and components (EV powertrain, ICE powertrain, energy management, chassis, body, infotainment, diagnostics, etc.), familiarity with automotive communication protocos (CAN, LIN, Ethernet, FlexRay).Background in control systems or vehicle dynamics and their implementation in ECUs.
  • Experience with data analysis (Python, Matlab or similar) for test and vehicle data.

Salary range starting at €37 500 gross per year. Your final compensation will be shaped by your experience, expertise and how your profile matches the scope of the role.
