Our client is growing their security and observability capability and we are looking for a Splunk Engineer consultant to help make it run cleanly. You'll own alert configuration, integrations, and data onboarding — working closely with security, infrastructure, and application teams so the environment stays visible and detections stay reliable.

- Build and support integrations between Splunk and platforms including ServiceNow, Microsoft Teams, email notification systems, security tools, and custom APIs
- Onboard new log sources and manage data inputs, forwarders, and parsers
- Tune alerts to cut false positives and lift detection quality
- Build dashboards and support reporting needs
- Troubleshoot ingestion, alerting, and integration issues
- Test and validate new use cases and integrations
- Document technical processes and operational procedures
- Work alongside senior engineers and stakeholders to land project outcomes
What you'll bring
- Splunk experience
- Solid understanding of Splunk Enterprise and/or Splunk Cloud
- Experience building and managing alerts and scheduled searches
- Working knowledge of SPL
- Experience with APIs, webhooks, or automation-based integrations
- Understanding of log management and SIEM concepts
- Good troubleshooting instincts and clear communication
