Pricing Analyst.

About the Role

Join our Commercial Insurance Pricing team to support pricing models and develop solutions across our SME Packages, Strata and Non-Fleet Motor portfolios. You will contribute hands-on pricing analysis, predictive modelling and data capabilities to support sustainable portfolio growth and profitability. Working closely with Senior Pricing Advisors, Pricing Managers and key stakeholders, you will help deliver pricing recommendations, enhance modelling capabilities and maintain pricing infrastructure. You will also play a role in integrating data science with traditional pricing methods, identifying opportunities to simplify, automate and improve pricing solutions across the business.

What You'll Do

• Develop pricing frameworks and recommendations that improve risk selection and align pricing strategies with business goals and brand budgets
• Support the implementation and monitoring of pricing changes to ensure accurate and timely delivery
• Maintain existing Commercial pricing infrastructure and support the development of modelling-ready datasets
• Assist in delivering pricing initiatives that explore and enhance internal and external data and modelling capabilities
• Provide technical support on pricing model methodologies, implementation and testing
• Prepare pricing papers and analysis to support recommendations and communication with key stakeholders
• Identify opportunities to leverage data science, automation and AI to improve pricing processes and analytical capabilities

What You'll Bring

• Bring a relevant degree in Statistics, Actuarial Studies, Business Analytics or a related field
• Apply at least 12 months of relevant experience, ideally within the insurance industry and working across end-to-end solutions
• Demonstrate knowledge of business modelling techniques, including GLMs, GBMs and other machine learning approaches
• Bring strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex datasets, identify key issues and develop practical solutions
• Have experience with SAS and/or R, with Python, SQL and Excel also advantageous
• Demonstrate experience working with large and complex datasets
• Communicate technical information clearly and confidently, both verbally and in writing
• Adapt to a changing environment, manage competing priorities and work effectively with limited supervision
• Show curiosity and initiative in exploring how AI and emerging technologies can create efficiencies and solve business problems
