Senior Report Developer (Power BI).

Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Senior Report Developer with
strong expertise in Microsoft Power BI, data modeling, reporting, and business
intelligence solutions. The successful candidate will support a variety of
reporting and analytics initiatives, helping stakeholders make data-driven
decisions through modern reporting, visualization, and business intelligence
capabilities.

The consultant will work on multiple strategic reporting
projects while contributing to ongoing Power BI development initiatives and
business intelligence programs.

Key Responsibilities

• Create
  Power BI reports, dashboards, and data models.
• Develop
  and maintain business intelligence solutions.
• Conduct
  special assignments and sub-projects as required.
• Assess,
  evaluate, and document stakeholder interests and business requirements.
• Ensure
  adherence to established IT processes and standards.
• Support
  system testing and User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
• Participate
  in knowledge transfer activities throughout the engagement.
• Partner
  with business and technical stakeholders to understand reporting and
  analytics needs.
• Design
  and implement Power BI solutions that support operational and executive
  reporting.

Deliverables

• Develop
  Power BI reports and dashboards.
• Build
  and maintain data models.
• Connect
  Power BI reports to multiple data sources.
• Extract,
  transform, and load data using Power Query.
• Profile,
  cleanse, and prepare data for reporting.
• Design
  high-performing and maintainable data models.
• Create
  intuitive report navigation and user-friendly report layouts.
• Analyze,
  organize, and present complex datasets in a meaningful manner.

Required Skills & Experience

Power BI & Business Intelligence

• Proven
  experience as a Microsoft Power BI Developer or Report Developer.
• Extensive
  experience building Business Intelligence reports and dashboards.
• Demonstrated
  experience with:
• Power
  Query
• DAX
• M
  Language
• Experience
  creating compelling report designs and visualizations.
• Experience
  with report performance tuning, including measures, relationships, and
  visuals.
• Experience
  working with Power BI datasets and refresh processes.
• Experience
  with DirectQuery, Import mode, and related design considerations.

Data & Database Technologies

• Strong
  experience with SQL Server.
• Experience
  with Power BI datasets.
• Experience
  working with various database technologies.
• Proven
  expertise in data modeling and data visualization.
• Knowledge
  of data analysis and data management practices.

Cloud & Platform Experience

• Demonstrated
  knowledge of:
• Microsoft
  Azure
• Azure

• Power

• Microsoft
  Power Platform

Business Analysis & Stakeholder Management

• Experience
  gathering, analyzing, and documenting complex business requirements.
• Ability
  to work with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Experience
  translating business requirements into effective BI solutions.
• Strong
  stakeholder engagement and relationship management skills.

Communication & Collaboration

• Excellent
  verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong
  presentation and facilitation skills.
• Proven
  documentation experience.
• Experience
  collaborating with developers, testers, project teams, and business
  stakeholders.
• Strong
  organizational and time-management abilities.
• Demonstrated
  problem-solving skills and ability to meet deadlines.

Mandatory Requirements

• Minimum
  5 years of relevant experience.
• Ability
  to obtain and maintain required security clearance as applicable.
• Experience
  developing enterprise-level Power BI reporting and analytics solutions.
• Proven
  expertise with Power BI, SQL Server, Azure technologies, and data
  modeling.

Knowledge Transfer

The successful consultant will participate in knowledge
transfer activities including:

• Transfer
  of completed deliverables.
• Documentation
  of development processes and methodologies.
• Transfer
  of Power BI models and related artifacts.
• Transfer
  of source code and supporting technical documentation.
• Participation
  in team meetings and knowledge-sharing sessions throughout the engagement.
