Role DescriptionÂ
We are looking for a skilled Data Engineer to design, build, and maintain scalable, secure, and reliable data platforms that support analytics, reporting, and AI/ML initiatives across the enterprise.Â
In this role, you will be responsible for developing modern data architectures, building robust ETL/ELT pipelines, and enabling end-to-end data flows that support business intelligence, machine learning, and Generative AI use cases. You will work closely with Data Scientists, AI Engineers, Platform Teams, and Business Stakeholders to ensure trusted, high-quality, and accessible data is available across the organization.Â
Key ResponsibilitiesÂ

Design, develop, and maintain scalable ETL/ELT pipelines for structured and unstructured dataÂ

Build and support modern data architectures including data lakes, data warehouses, and real-time streaming platformsÂ
-
Ingest, integrate, process, transform, validate, and enrich data from internal and external sources while ensuring high data quality and consistencyÂ
-
Design and maintain data models that support analytics, reporting, and AI/ML use casesÂ
-
Collaborate with Data Scientists and AI Engineers to provide curated datasets and support feature engineering initiativesÂ
-
Develop batch and real-time data processing solutions using distributed computing technologiesÂ
-
Support integration of data pipelines with machine learning training, deployment, and monitoring workflowsÂ
-
Implement data governance, security, privacy, and compliance controls aligned with enterprise standardsÂ
-
Optimize data pipelines and platforms for performance, scalability, reliability, and cost efficiencyÂ
-
Implement monitoring, logging, alerting, and observability solutions while proactively troubleshooting failures and resolving performance bottlenecks across data platformsÂ
-
Maintain data lineage, metadata, documentation, and audit-related artifactsÂ

Support data migration, modernization, and cloud transformation initiativesÂ

Collaborate with DevOps teams to automate deployment processes and CI/CD pipelines for data workloadsÂ

Must Have RequirementsÂ

Proven experience in Data Engineering, Data Platform Engineering, Big Data Engineering, or a related fieldÂ

Strong hands-on experience designing and maintaining ETL/ELT pipelines and enterprise data architecturesÂ

Advanced knowledge of SQL and data modeling principlesÂ
-
Strong programming experience with Python and/or ScalaÂ
-
Experience working with relational and NoSQL databasesÂ
-
Experience with data lakes, data warehouses, and large-scale analytical platformsÂ

Hands-on experience with Big Data and distributed processing technologies such as Apache Spark or HadoopÂ

Experience working with cloud platforms such as Microsoft Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud PlatformÂ

Knowledge of real-time data streaming and event-driven architecturesÂ

Experience implementing data governance, data quality, and security best practicesÂ

Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skillsÂ

Experience with CI/CD, automation, and version control practicesÂ

Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholdersÂ
