About the role

About the role

Why this role matters
AI is reshaping aviation, and zeroG is at the core of it. We're the AI experts of Lufthansa Group, building data and AI solutions that help airlines and airports run some of the most complex operations in the world. Our marketing team makes sure people know about it, and that's the team you'll join.
As our Content Marketing & Asset Creation Intern, you'll turn our stories into videos, visuals and podcast episodes. You'll come up with ideas for what to film and make them happen.
What you will be doing
Create Visual Content

  • Design and edit videos, graphics and banners for LinkedIn, Instagram and YouTube.

Produce Video and Podcast Content

  • Plan, research, script, record and edit video and podcast formats, from interviews with our experts to new series we’re still shaping.
  • Work with our Social Media Intern to write scripts and produce long-form content for YouTube.
  • Own the full production process, from setting up equipment and filming to post-production and keeping files organised so anyone on the team can find them.

Bring Ideas to the Table

  • Pitch ideas for what to film and create, based on what's happening at zeroG, in the industry and online.
  • Keep an eye on formats and trends, and suggest what we could try next.

What skills should you have?

  • Studies: You're enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's in media design or production, digital marketing, communications or a related field.
  • Creative Skills: You have hands-on experience in video editing and graphic design, and you can show us what you've made.
  • Tools: You're confident with Adobe Creative Cloud (Premiere Pro, Photoshop, After Effects) and Figma or Canva.
  • Initiative: You don't wait for a brief to get started. You spot things worth filming, pitch them and make them happen. When your plate is clear, you go looking for the next thing.
  • Communication: You keep people in the loop without being chased. You ask questions early, share your thinking and speak up when you disagree.
  • Ownership: You follow through on what you start and take pride in getting the details right.
  • Language: You communicate well in English. German is a plus.
  • Bonus points: Experience with podcast or audio production, camera and lighting setups, motion graphics, or using AI tools in your creative workflow.

What you can expect

  • A small team where your work gets seen and your ideas are taken seriously
  • Hands-on experience across video production, design, podcasting and campaign assets
  • A front-row seat to how AI is changing aviation
  • An international team where English is our working language
  • Our office at Frankfurt Airport
  • An internship starting in March 2027, either as a mandatory internship (Pflichtpraktikum) for 6 months or a voluntary internship (freiwilliges Praktikum) for 12 months
  • Compensation

    • Mandatory internship (Pflichtpraktikum), 6 months: €800 gross per month for the first three months, then €900 gross per month
    • Voluntary internship (freiwilliges Praktikum), 12 months: €2,535 gross per month
