Position: Power BI Developer

Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Report Developer to support
business intelligence and reporting initiatives. The successful candidate will
collaborate with project teams and business stakeholders to assess
requirements, model and process data, and develop reports, dashboards, and data
visualizations using modern BI technologies.

Key Responsibilities

Scope of Work

• Provide
  planning, assessment, and development support for business intelligence
  reporting initiatives.
• Collaborate
  with Project Managers and business stakeholders to evaluate requirements
  and develop reporting solutions.
• Perform
  data modeling, ETL processing, and data warehousing activities.
• Develop
  reports, dashboards, and data visualizations using Power BI Desktop and
  Power BI Report Builder.
• Support
  quality assurance activities and ensure accessibility compliance with WCAG
  2.1 Level AA standards.
• Participate
  in project documentation, knowledge transfer, and communication
  activities.
• Work
  collaboratively with project teams throughout the project lifecycle.

Assignment Deliverables

• Participate
  in requirements gathering sessions to understand functional and
  non-functional requirements.
• Assess
  business needs and define implementation approaches with project
  stakeholders.
• Design
  and develop data processing pipelines and repositories using Azure Data
  Factory and Databricks.
• Create
  reports, dashboards, and data visualizations using Power BI technologies.
• Troubleshoot
  BI solutions and implement corrective actions during testing activities.
• Support
  migration activities and knowledge transfer requirements.
• Participate
  in ongoing knowledge transfer activities.

Mandatory Qualifications

• Minimum
  2 years of experience with Power BI Desktop and Power BI Paginated Report
  Builder.
• Minimum
  4 years of experience with SQL query languages including T-SQL and PL-SQL.
• Minimum
  2 years of experience with DAX programming.
• Minimum
  2 years of experience with ETL tools such as Azure Data Factory and
  Databricks.
• Experience
  with data modeling methodologies.

Nice-to-Have Skills

• Experience
  troubleshooting reports, dashboards, and database queries in BI
  environments.
• Experience
  performing data quality analysis and report validation.
• Proven
  ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues within a team
  setting.
• Strong
  oral and written communication skills.
• Excellent
  interpersonal, facilitation, and consultative skills.
• Experience
  communicating technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
• Experience
  preparing technical documentation.

Desired Experience

• Experience
  working within Business Intelligence environments delivering reporting and
  analytics solutions.
• Experience
  designing and developing Power BI reports and dashboards.
• Experience
  using DAX to implement business logic within Power BI solutions.
• Experience
  troubleshooting SQL queries and BI reporting solutions.
• Knowledge
  of Microsoft SQL Server and Oracle databases.
• Knowledge
  of ETL technologies including Azure Data Factory, Microsoft SSDT, IBM
  InfoSphere DataStage, and similar tools.

Knowledge Transfer Requirements

The successful candidate will be responsible for documenting
and transferring knowledge related to:

• Technology
  designs and architecture documentation.
• Best
  practices, lessons learned, and workarounds.
• Code
  repositories and scripts.
• Power
  BI report and dashboard specifications.
• Project-related
  technical knowledge and documentation.

Knowledge transfer activities will occur through
documentation, team meetings, and one-on-one sessions throughout the
engagement.
