- The Role:This role is for a technical engineer building agentic AI solutions and integrations for business and workflow needs.
- The Person:The person will build and support agentic AI solutions, translate workflow needs into technical designs and prototypes, and develop integrations with internal and external systems, databases, and workflow automation.
- Requirements:The ideal candidate has a bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, Data Science, or related experience, plus four or more years in a technical role and two years of hands-on GenAI, LLM, or agentic solution work.

What You Will Do:
Solution DeliveryÂ
- Build and support agentic AI solutions using Claude, API integrations, and modern application development practices.Â
- Translate business and workflow needs into practical technical designs and working prototypes including Custom Skills. Â
- Develop reliable agent workflows that use tools, structured outputs, retrieval, and human review where appropriate.Â
- Contribute to the design of solution patterns that balance usability, performance, maintainability, and safety.Â
Engineering and IntegrationÂ
- Build and maintain integrations with internal and external systems through APIs, services, and data pipelines.Â
- Support read-oriented and low-risk workflow integrations with common business systems and internal applications.Â
- Work with relational databases and related data storage patterns to support application state, retrieval, and auditability.Â
What You Will Need:
- Must be able to OBTAIN and MAINTAIN a Federal or DHS "PUBLIC TRUST"; candidates must obtain approved adjudication of their PUBLIC TRUST prior to onboarding with Guidehouse. Candidates with an ACTIVE PUBLIC TRUST or SUITABILITY are preferred
 - Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, Data Science, or a related field, or equivalent practical experienceÂ
- Four (4) or more years of experience in software engineering, data engineering, analytics engineering, or a related technical roleÂ
- TWO (2) years of recent, hands-on experience building GenAI, LLM, or agentic solutionsÂ
- Experience with Claude API, Claude for Enterprise, Claude Code, tool use, or similar LLM platformsÂ
- Experience building and integrating applications through APIs, services, or workflow automationÂ
What Would Be Nice To Have:
- Anthropic Academy coursework or certificates in areas such as AI Fluency, API development, Model Context Protocol, Claude Code, or related Claude platform topicsÂ
- Experience building reliable, maintainable, and well-documented code
- Anthropic partner training or certification experience, or equivalent Claude-focused credentialingÂ
- ​Working knowledge of relational databases and basic data modeling conceptsÂ
- Experience with cloud environments such as AWS, Azure, or Google CloudÂ
- Experience with retrieval-augmented generation (RAG), embeddings, or vector searchÂ
- Familiarity with agentic workflow patterns, orchestration, and human-in-the-loop designsÂ
- Exposure to evaluation practices for AI systems, including testing, validation, and quality reviewÂ
- Familiarity with logging, monitoring, and observability for application servicesÂ
- Experience supporting internal platforms, client implementations, or enterprise software deliveryÂ
- Strong interest in building practical AI solutions that are useful, trusted, and easy to maintainÂ
The annual salary range for this position is $70,000.00-$116,000.00. Compensation decisions depend on a wide range of factors, including but not limited to skill sets, experience and training, security clearances, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs.
